As responsible dog breeders our goal is to provide families with healthy well tempered puppies to love for years to come.  To achieve this we start with healthy, well tempered, and well loved parents. 

We do not inbreed. This puts the health and lifespan of the puppies in jeopardy.  It also increases the likelihood the puppies developing inherted genetic diseases.  We also, do genetic and health testing on our parents.  The test is for over 190 genetic mutations linked to diseases, including the genetic risk factors most relevant to our breeds. These results can be used when evaluating mating pairs and building our breeding program.  We will not over breed our dogs we will always follow the advice of our trusted vetinerian.  All Wood Lake Doodles puppies receive their first vaccinations and are dewormed before going to their forever homes.  

We guarantee that to the best of our knowledge your puppy is free of disease, genetic, and congenital defects. We would never knowingly breed from parents that have any detected hereditary deficiency.

We also guarantee that efforts are made to keep our litters happy,  healthy in sanitary and well maintained facilities. We guarantee your puppy for one year for any life threatening or an extreme quality of life altering, congenital or genetic birth defect.  If such incident occurs you will be given a puppy from the next litter.  

The dogs in our breeding program are family dogs they are not raised in kennels.  We will not over breed our dogs we will always follow the advice of our trusted vetinerian.  Our moms need a rest, they will only be bred once per year.  Our puppies are raised in side our home.   Also, once you have one of our puppies you are a part of The Wood Lake Doodle family!

Having a limited amount of litters per year allows us to give special attention to each puppy from Wood Lake Doodles.  Our Doodles are well socialized. Including but not limited to being exposed to lots of sights, sounds, textures, toys, people, smells so when you get them home they will be well adjusted to life with humans. We start to litter train puppies from a very young age.  The litter mimics the outdoors making it easy for families to transition them to going potty outside. We also give families tips and tricks to assist in training when the puppies get to their fur-ever homes.

We feed our dogs a well balanced, healthy high quality diet.  A high quality diet is essential for their health, well being and to help avoid illness and disease.
